30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety

Purpose: OSHA 30 HR Construction Safety course teaches health and safety awareness by helping workers and supervisors reduce the risk of workplace hazards.

Learning Outcomes:
Identify different ways to manage safety and health
Identify the focus four and explain proper precautionary measures against these hazards
Identify proper usage of stairways and ladders, hand and power tools, and materials handling, storage, use, and disposal
Identify different types of PPE
Identify different types of hazards in concrete/masonry construction, confined space entry, excavations, scaffolds, welding and cutting, and steel erection and explain proper precautionary measures against these hazards

Earning IACET CEUs: Students will receive 3 CEUs at the successful completion of the course. Students will be assessed by attendance, participation, verbal quiz, & written test. The verbal quizzes are pass/fail and the written test has a passing score of 70%. The verbal quizzes and the written test are prepared for throughout the class
